Description

Our CITB Assured Levelling and Taping course will teach you the basics and fundamental principals of levelling and setting out by tape. You will learn how to use an automatic level (aka dumpy level) correctly to carry out level surveys, transfer levels, set profile boards and batter rails and more.

We at Setting Out For Construction wrote the CITB Assured standards for this course, which means we are in the best position to deliver it. Our training team are all experienced Site Engineers with a wealth of industry background, which we weave into our courses.

This course is aimed at people who would like to split the 5-day course over 2 sessions rather than attend the course in a single 5 day block. The levelling (2 days) and total station (3 days) components can be taken in any order, however, for those who do not have any experience of using surveying equipment, we recommend attending the levelling section before the total station section. It is ideal as a stand-alone course for those who are unlikely to need to use a total station in the course of their work.
