Advancing Setting Out Skills Across The Industry
Yes, you need to be a CITB-registered employer to access CITB funding. If you are not currently registered, you can find out more here:

Very small companies can still benefit from the funding without paying any levy, making it accessible to businesses of all sizes.
The CITB Assured Training model is built around three connected parts:
1. Construction Training Directory (CTD)
An online directory of Assured Training Organisations and the courses they are approved to deliver. The directory lists Assured Products, CITB Products and Recognised Products.
2. Construction Training Register (CTR)
A secure database of construction workers’ training achievements and qualifications.
3. Automated Grant Payments
Levy-registered construction companies receive grant payments automatically once a worker completes an eligible course - no forms, no delays.
The Construction Training Register is an online record of verified training and qualifications across the construction industry. Employers can use it to check an individual’s training history, and construction workers can view their own profiles to confirm their skills and achievements.
If you do not already have a profile, we will create one for you and upload your training achievements automatically when you complete any of our CITB Assured courses. Any future Assured courses you complete with other providers will also appear on your record, giving you one verified, central record of your construction training.
If you would like to understand how CITB funding could make your training more affordable, or want to confirm eligibility, please contact us.
