Setting Out Training in Dublin, Ireland

Dublin is where our Ireland courses are based, but the training itself is built for engineers working right across the country. Dublin’s own housing pipeline is currently one of the most active in Ireland, with over 32,000 homes built or under construction and more than 200 active sites across the city, alongside significant construction activity in Cork, Limerick, Galway and beyond.

Training Built Around Ireland's Construction Sector

Dublin’s housing supply pipeline remains one of the strongest in Ireland, with over 32,000 new homes built or under construction across more than 200 active sites, and the wider Docklands area continuing to deliver major residential and commercial schemes. That momentum extends well beyond the capital, with strong construction activity across Cork, Limerick, Galway and Waterford too.

We work with contractors, housebuilders and civil engineering firms across Dublin and further afield, as well as individuals funding their own training to break into or progress within the industry right across Ireland. Whether you’re setting out foundations on a Docklands housing scheme, working on a commercial development elsewhere in Dublin, or supporting construction activity in Cork or Galway, our courses are designed to reflect the reality of a live Irish construction site.

What Engineers & Employers Say

We Don't Just Teach. We Build Real Competence Across Ireland.

Whether you’re building a career on Irish construction sites or developing your company’s workforce across the country, there’s a route built for where you are.

1. Competence, Not Just Certificates

We focus on building the real-world setting out skills and confidence Ireland’s site engineers need to perform from day one. Our training is designed around outcomes, not attendance records.

2. Continued Learning Support

Learning doesn’t stop when the course ends. Every delegate on our Dublin courses gets ongoing access to our eLearning platform and community forum, plus the chance to attend future refresher courses and practice days at no extra cost.

3. Academic Partnerships

We work with colleges and universities across Ireland on setting out and construction surveying modules, a level of academic credibility most commercial training providers can’t claim.

4. National Open Course Delivery

Dublin is one of 10 UK and Ireland locations where we run public setting out courses, alongside London, Kent, Glasgow, Warrington, Newcastle, Leeds, Birmingham, Bristol and Belfast. Most competitors operate from a single base.

5. Multiple Equipment Types

We train on multiple total station types, not just one, so Irish engineers are ready for whatever instrument they find on any construction site, wherever in the country they’re working.

6. Building Safety Focused

Our ProQual Diploma in Engineering Surveying is aligned to the competence-proving standards increasingly expected across the industry, helping Irish contractors future-proof their workforce today.
